Date night must! We saw this restaurant on a walk one day and the orange exterior caught our eye. The brass gates are also a cute touch! We love Mexican food and have not found too many good places nearby but this place was amazing. For starters we had the albondigas (meatballs) which came with sourdough toast to soak up the sauce. We also got the mixed salsa plate and one of the salsas was almost like a chili/peanut salsa. It was to die for. For our main we got the birria tacos and shrimp chile relleno. Both were excellent. The tacos weren’t too greasy which was a plus. To drink we had the El Maestro and the el chon chon picante. Both 10/10. Not pictured is their version of an espresso martini. It was good but made with mezcal which is not my favorite but it was still a good drink. We will definitely be coming back! Update: went back again and still 10/10. This time got the octopus, nacho quesadilla, and tri color salad pastor skewers.

Really surprising find with excellent mole verde for that chicken thigh. The mole verde was deep flavored and a little sweet but mainly very savory. That mole went really well with the chicken thigh, I can't really imagine the mole verde with another meat. That's an indicator that they know how to cook here. Also a fan of the octopus tostada because well cooked octopus is hard to find.

Went there with friends for my birthday last night, and loved it! The staff are super friendly and the food was excellent. It also has a beautiful interior and atmosphere. It is pricey, though, and the portions are pretty small. So be prepared to pay a higher price than many other Mexican places around.

Eddie is by far the best bartender I have ever came across in my life! He is freaking amazing. He knows what he is doing and knows how to make a drink. I have been almost everywhere around the world and I have not come across a bartender this excellent.

Really delicious food paired with a very cozy yet hip atmosphere. Will definitely return for the Ahi Tuna Tostaditas and house tequila.
